My love for painting began in my small-town high school, where an encouraging art teacher sparked my passion for creativity and exploration. That passion followed me to The University of Pittsburgh, where I minored in Studio Arts alongside my Business Marketing major. While I fell in love with oil paints, pastels, and color theory, I never imagined pursuing art professionally- imposter syndrome had other plans.

Fast forward a few years (and many self-taught lessons later), and here I am, an artist, wife, and mom - embracing the creative journey that once felt out of reach.

Based in Houston, TX, Devon Louise Art offers original oil and acrylic paintings in a style best described as warm, cozy, and distinctly Southern. My work features realistic and semi-realistic subjects, from lush landscapes and citrus groves to charming florals and coastal scenes - all inspired by the beauty of nature and the places that feel like home. Each piece is created with the hope of bringing comfort, nostalgia, and timeless charm to any space.

My artwork has been at Round Top, TX, and is held in private collections across the United States. It’s an honor to share my creations with collectors who appreciate meaningful, heirloom-quality art.

Alongside original paintings and fine art prints, I also release seasonal collections, including hand-painted accessories and limited-edition pieces. These special collections bring an extra touch of artistry to everyday life.
