My love for painting began in my small-town high school with an art teacher who encouraged creativity and exploration. Then I hit the “big leagues” at The University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA by minoring in Studio Arts alongside my Business Marketing major. While I fell in love with oil paints, pastels, color theory, and more - there was NO way I could take painting to a professional level. There were too many other talented artists out there - major imposter syndrome.

Flash forward many years later - with an amazing husband, adorable red-headed son, and several self-taught art lessons and mistakes under my belt - I am excited to "officially" become an artist and offer a platform to sell my treasured pieces. Do not worry, imposter syndrome is still present.

Based out of Houston, TX, Devon Louise Art offers original oil and acrylic paintings inspired by travel, nature, landscapes, citrus, and still life - all drawn from personal experiences that bring joy. My style is lifelike and aesthetically pleasing.

Replicated prints are all printed with high-quality giclee ink and hand-signed.

Seasonal collections will pop up throughout the year and include hand-painted seasonal decor, fun limited series, and more! Each season will offer something new and beautiful - like a miniature piece of art.
